The information contained in the 3/5/2021 LoHud article regarding East Ramapo turf fields contains inaccurate and explicitly incorrect information. It is sad that such an outlet seemingly seeks to continue to negate the good work and dedication of our district community. We have surveyed our turf fields and to the extent the turf is accessible and able to be evaluated, there is in fact no observable damage. Thank you to a community that supports and advocates for our students and student-athletes at the highest level. Sincerely, Mr. Joe Toombs, Director of Health, PE & Athletics.
