Welcome to First Grade!  I am so excited to be your child’s teacher!  I am looking forward to getting to know your child!  In first grade, your child will be exposed to many social and academic activities throughout the school year.  We will work to strengthen our reading skills including decoding and comprehension, addition and subtraction utilizing strategies, as well as social development!  We will listen to stories, sing songs, participate in daily lessons, and participate in hands on activities all while learning to work cooperatively and gain independence!
