    First quarter

    The English classes as well as Core Support will dig deeper into the refugee experience.  English students will be analyzing Thanhha Lai's Inside Out and Back Again, a novel that depicts the journey of Vietnamese girl and her family fleeing Saigon in 1975. To supplement their understanding, the Core Support students will be analyzing informational text, viewing videos and blogging about the current Syrian Refugee Crisis.
