Mi nombre es Paola Scerbo, soy peruana de nacimiento y emigré a los Estados Unidos en 1991. Soy casada y tengo cinco hijos, cuatro mujeres y un varón. Vivo en nuestro hermoso Condado de Rockland, y es un tremendo orgullo y honor ser maestra de español en la escuela secundaria de Ramapo. Enseño todos los niveles del lenguaje español: I, II, III, IV y Honores. Igualmente, enseño español y cultura a nuestros estudiantes latinoamericanos y de otras partes del mundo. También soy la consejera de los siguientes programas: Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica ♦ Sociedad Honoraria de Francés ♦ Seal of Biliteracy ♦ Today's Students, Tomorrow's Teachers.

My name is Paola Scerbo, I am from Perú and moved to the United States in 1991. I am married and have five children, four girls, and a boy. I live in our beautiful community of Rockland County, and it is a great honor to be a Spanish teacher at Ramapo High School. I teach all levels of the language; I, II, III, IV, and Honors. In addition, I teach Spanish and Culture to students who come from Latin America and other parts of the world. I am also the advisor for the following programs: Spanish National Honor Society ♦ French National Honor Society ♦ Seal of Biliteracy ♦ Today's Students, Tomorrow's Teachers.

Ser maestra es la experiencia más linda que puede haber en este mundo, porque me permite conocer estudiantes fantásticos, los cuales me brindan alegría, felicidad y lo más importante, increíbles aspectos culturales de nuestro mágico mundo hispano así como de otros lugares hermosos alrededor del mundo.

Being a teacher allows me to have the most rewarding experiences every day. It gives me the opportunity to meet fantastic students who bring me joy and excitement and from whom I always learn great cultural aspects from our magical Hispanic world, as well as from other great parts of the world.
