Welcome to The Hempstead Media Center

In the age of wireless devices such as chromebooks, iPads, SMART TV's and countless others, it’s no surprise that Hempstead's students today love our new media center. Our library is so much more than books! We are going Google for all the ways to collaborate, create and learn.  

Our Mission is to:

1. Equip students and staff with current and relevant technology skills including, but not limited to Google

2. Encourage a life-long appreciation and love of literature, reading, and learning

3. Create a place where information is discovered, created, and shared
